The role of the staff
Develop or revise procedures for the GCACM;
Register projects (in accordance with specific procedures);
Issue Certified Emission Reduction (CER) credits earned through GCACM projects in accordance with specific procedures;
Make publicly available information on proposed GCACM projects in need of funding and investors seeking opportunities;
Maintain a public database of GCACM project activities containing information on registered project design documents, comments received, verification reports, and information on all CERs issued;
Ensuring that activities follow reasonable maximum time intervals between the steps in the activity cycle
Develop and maintain the GCA registry.
