The role of the staff

  • Develop or revise procedures for the GCACM;

  • Register projects (in accordance with specific procedures);

  • Issue Certified Emission Reduction (CER) credits earned through GCACM projects in accordance with specific procedures;

  • Make publicly available information on proposed GCACM projects in need of funding and investors seeking opportunities;

  • Maintain a public database of GCACM project activities containing information on registered project design documents, comments received, verification reports, and information on all CERs issued;

  • Ensuring that activities follow reasonable maximum time intervals between the steps in the activity cycle

  • Develop and maintain the GCA registry.
