The role of the GCACM experts
When a project is reviewed during the registration or issuance process, the staff will organize an expert review team to evaluate the project and provide a conclusion on whether the project is registered or issued
Calls for GCACM Experts
The GCA Platform may establish expert groups comprising internal or external experts, for project review, as required, to assist it in performing its functions and achieving its objectives.
Minimum requirements:
Familiarity with the Article 6.4 and GCA Mechanism rules and regulations;
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both in writing and orally. A working knowledge of other United Nations languages is desirable;
Excellent drafting skills, strong operational and analytical skills, and an ability to work as a member of a team;
Advanced university degree (Masters) in the relevant discipline. A combination of a university degree plus three years of additional relevant professional experience in the field may be accepted in lieu of an advanced degree in the relevant discipline.
Remuneration:
Experts will be paid based on review projects in accordance with GCA rules and regulations.
