GCACM的好处
The Green Climate Action Carbon Mechanism (GCACM) was designed to meet the following objectives:
• to help developed countries fulfill their commitments to reduce emissions, and
• to assist developing countries in achieving sustainable development, and
• The issued carbon emission reductions can be tokenized, and the application of blockchain technology is beneficial for carbon emission reductions to circulate more efficiently in a more authentic and transparent manner.
GCACM projects earn tradable, saleable certified emission reduction (ER) credits that can be used by enterprises for carbon neutrality.
Benefits of GCACM projects include investment in climate change mitigation projects in developing countries, transfer or diffusion of technology in the host countries, as well as improvement in the livelihood of communities through the creation of employment or increased economic activity.
